A homage to Manolo Torres, a metal worker exiled from Franco’s Spain who became one of the great Swiss sculptors of the late twentieth century.
Creator of the monumental gates of the high-security prison Champ-Dollon in Geneva, Switzerland, Manolo Torres recounts his past, bit by bit, and what made him become what he is. His account is interrupted by fragments of various texts, including Marx and Lenin, in an attempt to underline the inextricable complexity of creating works of art.
